In the Knowledge Economy, we manufactured reliable Experts...
Traditional education is about developing your expertise in some professional field by embedding in you the knowledge, skills, and attributes that every member of that field is supposed to have. It is a process of making, a process of manufacturing where you are the raw material and the desired finished product is an expert in topic X.
Over the past 25 years, the members of U of Next have developed an approach to education that is not about putting stuff in, but rather drawing your unique expression out. It is a process of growing, a process of facilitating an environment within which you can explore and express your whole self in a way that makes a meaningful contribution to others and society.
...in the Meaning Economy, we must develop aware Humans.

The Self is a habit - you keep doing the same unproductive things not because there's something wrong with you, but because you're locked into the same habitual, and largely subconscious, script. This program uses writing and storytelling to invite a new narrative about your past, and your future.
This program is the foundation of our work and requires a deep personal commitment from participants. For Educators, Consultants, HR/OD Professionals, Parents - anyone who has an authentic commitment to the development of others.
